Service Service That Helps By admin Posted on January 8, 2016 2 min read 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr As part of my OA service, I have the privilege of reviewing articles for upcoming issues of Lifeline. I just finished reading the February issue, and my heart is filled with gratitude this December morning. I enjoyed every one of the articles selected, but more than that, I personally know at least five of the contributors. I recognized either their names or their stories. I feel so grateful to know others who feel that contributing to Lifeline is an important service. All of these people are members I’ve worked alongside at service body meetings at every level of our Fellowship. What an amazing thing to realize that people all over the world get to experience my friends’ recoveries in ways that will bring hope to them and others. These articles will be read on buses, trains, and planes; at kitchen tables, in restaurants, and waiting rooms too numerous to mention. They will be read in February when the issue is new, and again over the years when those Lifeline issues are passed from member to member as they are recycled in the rooms of OA. To everyone who has a story to tell: Please consider sharing it with all of us through Lifeline. Together we can. — Cyndy L., Saint Peters, Missouri USA
